It was at the Musée du Louvre that Bulgari received the Fine Art of High Jewelry and Timepieces Award. Bestowed by The The National Jewelry Institute and Parsons School of Design, the celebrated event was hosted by HRH Princess Tatiana of Greece and HRH Prince Nikolaos of Denmark. The exalted initiative was aimed to promote exquisite items of decorative artistry with high jewellery and timepieces.
Celebrated for its innovation, ingenuity and design, the seven exemplary sapphires of Blue Iridescence, a necklace from Bulgari’s newly launched GiardiniItaliani High-Jewellery collection and Octo-Retrograde Monowatch with its daring retrograde minute display was graded by prominent juries such asJoel Towers (Dean of Parsons School of Design), Judith Price(Founder of the National Jewellery Institute), AymericZublana (President of the Academie des Beaux Arts & Institute du France), Vincent Meylan (noted author and historian), Ben Clymer (founder of Hodinkee), and Catherine Pegard (President of the Public Establishment of the Palace, Museum and National Estate of Versailles).
With the bold and exceptional use of coloured gemstones which invoked tangible sensations and visual marvel, Bulgari brought forth unique pieces-of-art that underscored its fastidious eye and impeccable craftsmanship.
