New York-based high fashion brand Coach channeled American icons like The Beastie Boys and Steve McQueen in a spirited Fall campaign, which was presented in Singapore today. While Coach’s women’s accessories and ready-to-wear revolved around tartan, animal prints and shearling, the brand’s menswear revolved around its new camouflage print that it had conceived, called “Wild Beast”.
Top-grade leather was employed by the label to synthesise the mending and patching of pre-loved garments. Outerwear and carriers differentiated themselves from the competition with thoughtful details such as concealed magnets and hand-woven leather inner pockets. Coach’s popular bag designs were reinterpreted in orange, black, moss (olive) and embossed prints of Wild Beast, including Coach’s relatively new but highly coveted backpacks.
